Light-hearted Phoebe Evans of St. Samuel, Georgia, is finally writing her long-hoped-for novel. Serial killer, handsome detective, beautiful heroine, quirky characters, witty repartee—the story has the works.

While Phoebe struggles with her plot, St. Samuel police detective Joe Morgan hunts a serial killer and deals with the mysterious disappearance of his wife, Diane. He’s left no stone unturned looking for her but now he’s out of options.

Phoebe and Joe don’t know each other; their lives run in parallel lines with no reason to intersect. But when fate intercedes, they come together in unexpected ways. As Phoebe’s fiction eerily starts to imitate real life, she finds herself in the crosshairs of the local killer, and Diane’s disappearance brings a new enemy to Joe’s doorstep.

“Connie Davis has crafted a heart-pounding thriller that pinballs between the hunt for a serial killer and a sinister subplot, two stories that ultimately collide in a small rural town in Georgia. Death Writes Itself is not to be missed!”
